Rules
and guidelines of the Scandinavian Boxing Rankings!
|
-
The
Scandinavian Boxing Rankings is compiled with boxers, who
are either of Scandinavian nationality, Scandinavian
licensed, or fighting for a Scandinavian promoter/manager.
-
The
Scandinavian Boxing Rankings is published every third month
and results of each fighter since the last SBR
will be considered, but most of all, a boxers present form
and standard is the main factor.
-
To
be ranked, the boxers must be active within 1 year, of the 1st of the month the rankings are published.
(Example: to be ranked in a July-published ranking, the
boxer must have
boxed within the July 1st - July
1st
period.)
-
The
rankings are compiled after a point-system, where 4 panel
members award each boxer a number of points, in regards to
how they judge the different boxers strengths, compared to
each other. Example: The best in a division, is awarded the
lowest amount of points (1) and number two, gets the second
lowest amount of points (2) .....etc.
-
Each
panel member awards points to every boxer, and the points of
each of the 8 members are combined to make the total of each
boxer. Number 1 in a division is the one with less points.
-
The
rankings-panel is made of 2 persons from Sweden, 2 persons
from Norway, 2 persons from Finland and 2 persons from
Denmark.
-
A
“points-sheet” with all eligible boxers will be provided
to each of the panel-members by the SBR secretary. If any
boxer(s) are left out, that shouldn’t be, and a
panel-member is aware of this, he is obligated to report
such a mistake to the SBR secretary.
-
Each
ranking-panel-member will e-mail its points to
the “Voting collector” of the Scandinavian Boxing
Rankings. The “points-sheet” must be with the secretary no more than two days after the member receives
the sheet. Special circumstances can allow that the sheets
are handed in later.
